Day 10&11 21&22.8.20 Yowah

Short ride around town before packing up to move on.

Early morning in Cunnamulla.

Robber tree. The last man in Qld who was hung was aprehended at this tree.

Continued on to the river walk/cycle but there was toooo many 3 corner Jacks so we gave up. My phone had a meltdown so no photos 😏

First stop was at Eulo for morning tea in the lizard lounge.

Someone has a good sense of humour.

Taking the puppy for a walk

Under ground bunker.

War Memorial.
On the road to Yowah. Lots of red dirt and mulga trees.
Our camp spot for a couple of nights
Windy and cold. We travelled 160kms today.

Early morning in Yowah.

Started the morning with bacon and egg breakfast on the campfire.

Bike repairs, cleaning and lots of puppy cuddles done before Graham and Gail made rum n raisin damper in the camp oven.

Went for a short wander around town. Found a rock shop in a bus and a café for our coffee fix.

Had to purchase a fossickers license to hunt for opals. Not much luck. Found 2 tiny 'treasures' and came back smelling of dust. Had a shower and now smell like rotten eggs due to the high sulphur content of the bore water.

One of the many heaps of rocks to sift through.

Very little reception so it's taken me all day to do this post 🙄

Stats

Stats for my own benefit.  Lots of bakeries, cafes, pubs etc were visited as we did our bit to help support Queenslanders.  We gained 2 dog...
