Day 15 26.8.20 Noccundra

After a 6km ride we packed up and headed out to the wild west. We are planning on camping at a waterhole in Noccundra for a night then 2 nights out near the dig tree. I assume we will have no phone reception for the next few days.

Boys at the start of the bmx track.

Back to red dirt and mulga trees but surprisingly lots of green grass due to recent rain.

Lots of wildflowers along the way.

Morning tea stop by a Telstra repeater at the top of Grey range.

Nockatunga station, where Grahams dad use to pick cattle up from many years ago.

Noccundra pub, where we had a huge lunch.

Free camped by the river for the night. Great spot. Very quite. About 700m walk to the amenities.

Gave Gunther my phone to take a sunset photo  ๐Ÿค”

Stats

Stats for my own benefit.  Lots of bakeries, cafes, pubs etc were visited as we did our bit to help support Queenslanders.  We gained 2 dog...
