Day 4 15.8.20 Mitchell

I thought I was back at home when I woke this morning. I could hear a light plane doing his pre flight warm ups then take off. Also saw the roos biffing each other in the paddocks.

Lots of cloud cover overnight which made for a lovely warm night.

After a leisurely breakfast outdoors we cycled into town to soak in the thermal pool 💖. Water temperature is 40°c and so relaxing.

Lots of bottles trees in the area.

While in town we met up with Narelle and Dennis, cycling friends from Hervey Bay.  They are camped not far from us.
Yvonne and I spent a lovely afternoon doing some of our diamond art.

A very 'social ' day today. Graham and Gail joined us. As they have traveled quickly to catch up we decided to give them a rest day today so are staying at the weir for another night before moving on to Charleville.
We had a communal dinner of chicken and vegetables. Then we all joined Narelle and Dennis around their campfire.

Stats

Stats for my own benefit.  Lots of bakeries, cafes, pubs etc were visited as we did our bit to help support Queenslanders.  We gained 2 dog...
